My stepfather took us to the YMCA to learn how to swim first when I was about six and then again at thirteen. It finally stuck with us as we moved to Atlanta in 1990 and joined the City of Atlanta Dolphins (CAD). All seven us continue the tradition of swimming in some form. The youngest, Aminah and Nzingha Murphy, have been able to complete their studies at Howard University on scholarship. We are thankful to Coach Tommy Jackson and all of our coaches at CAD for teaching us discipline, the value of hardwork, and dedication. Looking forward to a bigger and brighter future for Diversity in Aquatics!

Nice group pic, but which one are you?? You have awesome parents who instilled swimming in you and your siblings at an early age. I am aware of the "Infamous Dolphins of Atlanta. I resided in Union City for 15 years and Atlanta has some excellent teams throughout the city.. We hope you join in on our open forum and discussions, and to share your experiences with us. Take Care and God Bless You. Darrick aka dswimmerman
