Incorporating those ideas with his primary mission of assimilation, he founded the Nadar Por Vida (Swimming For Life) swim team. He is a great coach because he wants the best for his kids and is not chasing accolades and championships for his own personal glory. He has stated that, "Our job is to get them in the water and pass them on to where they can continue to be successful in our communities through the sport of swimming and all it has to offer." How many coaches do that? Train kids so they will be productive on another team. Arthur's dedication to the sport and community are undeniable and help him make a positive impact in the lives of many. Coach Lopez is also a practicing Federal lawyer currently serving as an Associate General Counsel for the U.S. Office of Government Ethics. The aquatic pioneer did build new things and the people definitely came. He created new aquatic programs while a professor at Hampton University and established Lake Rawlings with family and friends and now serves as CEO. Errol's story is great and at heart of it, you not only learn of his love for the water, but also for teaching and the desire to introduce people to new things.
