We used a kick ball, about $3.99 at Kmart. And we used traffic cones as the goals. Hit the cone, get a goal. Rule #1, only one hand on the ball at a time (except goalie). Rule #2, Can't take the ball under water. We often play with a no-offsides rule too. Players on the offense can't go closer to 2 meters without the ball being in there too. Getting a set of caps is nice, of course. Lifeguards love to play as well.
