More about me:
My swimming career started in age group swimming started in Philadelphia PA in the late 1950's early 1960's. I swam competitively for Robert Vaux Junior High School and Thomas Edison High School in Philadelphia. I attended Howard University where I swam varsity for four years. During these times I was an active lifeguard and I later became a Red Cross water Safety Instructor. In 1978 I became certified as an open water Scuba Diver and later developed to the level of open water rescue diver. In the early 1990's I ventured into the world age group swimming as a coach and I coached several teams in western New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania. Over those years I coached 5 swimmers who attended the YMCA Nationals. I am presently gathering information about swimming over my career and the influence that swimming has had in my life.
