Hey Shaun,
How's lift treating you? Hope this email finds you in the best of health. What's a good email address for you? I have something I want to share with you.
Hey Shaun! Taking a mid season break from racing to get married! Then getting back into things late fall. Been a solid year so far, though I'm not quite satisfied... Hope you're really well!!
Thanks so much for the kind words of encouragement. I'm so blessed and excited to have this opportunity to make a difference in the world through what I do best...argue! :-) I have definitely found a place to swim. I looked for an apt. complex with a pool and Texas Tech is big on swimming, I guess. They have an Olympic-sized, indoor pool and an outdoor recreational pool with a lazy river! I will really miss VA, but Texas has a lot to offer me as well. I will make sure to keep in touch and come take a swim with you when I'm in town. Take care.
Shaun,
Man, it's been awhile, but from the looks of things, I see you have been quite busy, doing some very positive and productive things for DAP. My apologies for not being able to attend April Pool's Day, but I will try my best, if it be The Lord's Will, to put it on next year's calendar. I have finally got recertifed in LifeSaving, CPR, First Aid, and now looking high and low for a WSI class. Keep me in prayer, and I will reciprocate the same. Stay busy My Brother. Hello Mr. Anderson,
Hi, my name is Katherine Driessen and I am a journalism student at Northwestern University. I am writing an article about minority drowning rates and diversity in swimming, and I was really hoping to speak with you about your insights on this topic.
Unfortunately, I am on a very tight deadline, and I was hoping to speak with you this weekend or before Wednesday.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I can be reached at katherinedriessen@u.northwestern.edu or via phone at 443 812 3702.
Thanks so much!
~Katherine
Hi Shaun! My name is Rachel and I just joined the site today. It's wonderful!!! I am a graduate of Hampton U and I can't believe we never crossed paths. Anyway, I love the site and thank you!
HI Shaun,
I got your voice message the other day. Thank you for getting back with me and thank you for directing me to the website. Maybe we can start conversing while you are out of the country and touch base once you get back. I look forward to talking with you about all that you are doing--it looks inspiring!! Talk to you soon--Beth, Beaumont Centre Family YMCA, Lexington, KY
Thank YOU, Shaun! It was a pleasure to have you involved. Looking to exciting things for this project, Diversity in Aquatics, The Josh Project & USA Swimming. Best! T
Hi, Guy! Been trying to reach you today! Would like very much for you to come onto my show "HealthWatch" to talk about Diversity in Aquatics and African-Americans and swimming in general. We tape next Tuesday, April 28, at 2:30 p.m. in the studios of WHRO-TV, Channel 15. You can access previous editions of the show at www.norfolk.gov/tv48/health_watch. Please join us to talk about all that you are doing in swimming. Call me post haste on my cell (757-839-7963) to let me know what's up.
Shaun,
First off all, thank you for your mission towards diversity in aquatics. It's just amazing. I'd love to connect with you and talk a bit about what I've done in the multicultural advertising side of the world and more importantly to gather your opinion about some of the projects I want to move forward in this arena. Please email me your availability for a teleconference next week. Most any morning will work, or I guess towards the end of the day, because of your timezone. I will do my best to accomodate. Thanks in advance!
2008 Native American Championships were cancelled because of scheduling conflicts and low entries. We are trying to schedule 2009/2009 Championships for sometime this August. Will advise
As always, job well done with April Pools Day. You continue to put the rest of us to shame with your giving spirit and tireless dedication. Allow me the opportunity to proclaim publicly what I so often say privately; YOU ROCK! I am privileged to know you and to work with you, and I look forward to watching your star rise...
Shaun: Great Job on April Pools Day!! Thanks for all you do for the children and The Josh Project. Keep up the good work! Peace & love to you and for all you do.........Josh's mom w
