Leslie,
Your efforts are so inspiring. It is obvious that you do what you do because of your love for future of the children. I am here if there is anything I might be able to do to help. All the best!

Thank you for putting together the Mary Helen Water Safety Day.  The Norfolk State Site was a huge success. - Shaun

Hi Ms. Paul,
I was just touching bases with you to see how many registration forms you have received yet. So far it seems to be a great turnout that is responding back, can't wait to see. Hope all is well.

Unfortunately, our church does not have a bus. I'm not sure how to work out the details with liability insurance, etc. if we were to bring carloads over. Let's continue brainstorming, though.

Hi Leslie,
Excellent for starting up WSI......I have been out of touch with my certification and must get it renewed. What can I expect in terms of the latest update or changes that may have taken place within the past 5 years. I think we should get a discussion going on the site, for others who may be in the same situation as I am. Thanx. Darrick

Just reviewed your 49 photos. I miss those children. They were wonderful.

Thanks for the contact Leslie! I had some domestic outreach visits to make with Mayors and City Councils due to the surge in drownings across the country. This made a trip to Beijing impossible for me. Toledo, South Carolina, NYC and so many others are in mourning due to the staggering rate at which children (esspecially brown children) are dying. I am in the airport now on my way back from Columbia, SC where 6 children just drowned. I would love to talk about and generate support for your program and hope to talk very soon. Each day so many more will perish! Thanks so much for all you are doing...sorry for being so dramatic. The families are broken and I'm fresh from the areas.

Talk Soon,

John

Hi Leslie,

I called into the show on WHRV today - I'm pretty sure I messed up some of the information regarding minorityswimming.com and Diversity in Aquatics, so thank you for correcting my mistakes! I just wanted listeners to hear about all the great opportunities out there. Best of luck to you and your program! Great show today.

Hey Leslie,
I had a slight change of plans in that I decided to hop a plane from the BVI to Puerto Rico instead of home. I’ve managed to find a little studio apartment to rent so I’m not sure how long I will stay. I’m kind of off the grid right now, but will try to call you today at about noon, hopefully we can connect then. On a side note, yesterday I tried to go for a swim at a long course pool that some local open water swimmers told me about. So I jumped on the city bus in hopes of finding it.
It seems that I may need a little Spanish refresher course, because I have no clue how I missed my stop, but I did get a very extensive and very detailed tour of the city for 75 cents (keep it positive, right) I think you have to continually measure, test, and challenge yourself so I will try again today. From what I hear they have an excellent program so I hope I can somehow locate it, plus I need a salt water break.
Talk to you soon!

Leslie, Regina pointed me to the article but I could not get the link to come up. Any hints? Also, I coach with Shaun and run our Masters Group. You are welcome anytime. I think we might have some new volunteers for your program.
