Hi Jayson

I was trying to contact Efrem Graham after watching him story on the OWN net and found the Divesity Aquatics website. It made me ponder on how there are so many African American children in the Hampton Road area who doesn't know how to swim. I am poor swimmer myself, so I incline to stay away from water activity. My son and niece took swiming lessons at the YMCA when they were in elementary school. My niece is a awesome swimmer my son continue to struggle with swimming. Have a Great Day, Mary

Thanks for the membership approval Jayson. And I'm looking into becoming a Water Safety Instructor in the Houston area and through my research of the Aquatics Exercise Association and  The American Red Cross and came across this organization.

I was talking with American Red Cross management yesterday about SKWIM and while doing so happened to surf to your site.  Though still a new and budding sport, we see a vehicle that can carry millions of children to water safety through engaging recreational and competitive play. Soccer and Basketball have brought millions of children to fitness and skill proficiency through team play. Providing safety dynamics and ease of entry, SKWIM offers the same benefits in the water. I hope you enjoy the SKWIM CDM upload from You Tube!

I'm a coach in Southern California in an area where there is a huge need for swim lessons and an introduction to aquatic awareness given it being a mostly Hispanic/African American area with an average household income around $40,000.  I saw your site on USA Swimming's website and after viewing your website, immediately signed up.  Thank you for allowing me access to your site.

Jayson,
Thanks for forwarding the newsletter. I can't believe it but I think I can attend the Diversity Regatta in NY. I will be in the Chautauqua NY- it will be worth the 2 hour drive. I rowed in highschool & college. I look forward to cheering members across the finish & introducing my spouse to the sport.

A sad sequence of events. An eight and ten year old brother drowned last week in Cincinnati. They attended the Montessori school halfway between my house and this country's first intergrated private pool. It took 7 drownings so far this short summer, an "away" swim meet in the burbs, & my foreign exchange student asking me "where are all the African American swimmers?" to realize this city has a problem. Then I stumbled upon Sabir Muhammad's name and my trail of curiosity led me here. I want to share the empowerment, serenity, security & pleasure that comes with knowing how to swim.
