Hi Jayson,
Is there another way I can welcome newcomers to the site, without going to the member's page and going down that list. I used to be able to view it on the main page, but with so many new groups and events being publicized since this site's inception, it is time consuming to look up and see who is new. As you know, I have taken the liberty to be DAP's reception personnel since I joined, and I do not mind. Just a little guy in the background doing my part to help welcome all newcomers to the site. Please advise and let me know how we can simplify this process, which I do not mind at all. Thanks My Brother.

I write occasionally about Naji Ali of San Francisco for The Daily News of Open Water Swimming and The Water Is Open. I am also one of the few Mexican-Americans (Hispanics, Latino, whatever you want to call me!) coaches involved at USA Swimming at the national level. I understand and am accustomed to seeing a lack of color in the swimming (and water polo world). Your organization, mission and philosophy are wonderful. Keep up the excellent work.

I was actually invited to your site by Lee Pitts. He thought that this might be a great place to connect to people like myself with a vision to teach as many little people how to be safe around water. As an aquatic professional and self-employed person the task is harder ,spreading the word and focus on drowning prevention especially in our communities. I am originally from the Island of Barbados where my swimming actually began, while living in the United States I competed at the college level and now I am giving back to the community by providing swimming lessons to children who would not necessarily be taking advantage of swimming.

Greetings, my son Kwadjo Tillman is a member and I was looking at his email ther other day. He is 16 and I do that from time to time. Kwadjo is a scuba diver and a member of T.A.P. and NABS. I looked at your site and love the mission and would like to be informed and involved if possible. I also like to see my son connected with great people doing great heart works. Thank you for asking.

Hi Jayson, Errol here; you asked for feedback on the video series, so here are my two cents worth. First of all, it is a great series and it gives everyone participating in DAP an opportunity to see who the players are, so keep it up, it is important. You can improve it (my opinion) by showing a 15-30 second clip about the speaker's program activity, by panning, with a voice-over introduction of the speaker, the activity and the program. It may take a little bit more effort to edit your work before presentation to do this, and it will be worth the effort. Those are my thoughts, so continue your good work.

Denis Borroughs advised me of the site. You have activities I hope to partake in... in the near future. There is a different world out there on the water that we shoul all be exposed to an enjoy.

Thanks for working with our youth. They need all the help they can get and ten to listen more to adults when they are involved in activities they enjoy.

Ciao for now,

pierre

Thank you and I thank Dennis for the invite as well. What you have going on here is great! Hopefully, I can pick up some tips on how to swim so that I can save myself and others from danger...you never know! ~Shay
