H-60 BLACKHAWK HELICOPTER AIRFRAME:
Many divers from around the mid-Atlantic region have visited Lake Rawlings this summer to see and enjoy scuba diving around and inside the airframe of this Blackhawk helicpter. The first story (blog) that I wrote focused on airlifting the airframe into the lake. This blog shows the airframe underwater during sinking and positioning into place at its final destination, on top of a pedestal at a depth of 45'. The helicopter airframe is a very hot attraction at Lake Rawlings, and we are eternally grateful for the opportunity to show it off. If you are a scuba diver, you don't want to miss it.
Visit Lake Rawlings Photo Gallery at www.LakeRawlings.com, or better yet, come on down (or up) to Brunswick County in Virginia and check it out for yourself.
