There will be a PVS Diversity Committee Meeting from 1:30 -3:00 pm in the Fitness Room at Takoma.  All parents, coaches, and even swimmers are welcome to attend the meeting.  Topics to be discussed will be upcoming events within Potomac Valley, PVS Diversity Committee Initiatives, and future ideas for increasing diversity within PVS and USA Swimming.  All are welcome! 
 
Also, as a gentle reminder...sent by Rob Green Jr. earlier this week to those going to the NC Black Heritage Meet in Cary, NC. Please note that team is now at maximum capacity. No more applications can be accepted.
 
This Saturday, April 16th, will be the first of two combined practices for members of the PVS Diversity Team traveling to North Carolina in May for the 9th Annual Black Heritage Swim Meet.  This first practice will be conducted as a clinic lead by DAP member Mr. Douglas Carrington - Former Head Coach of Florida A & M University (FAMU) Swimming and Diving Team.  The clinic will run from 11 am until 1 pm at Takoma Aquatic Center. 
 
If you signed up to join us for the meet, there will be a parents meeting during the clinic lead by members of the DC Wave Booster Club to discuss travel arrangements and trip details.  The parents meeting will begin roughly around 11:30 am.  Preliminary entries for the meet will be also be available at the meeting, please review them and let me know of any corrections.  Final entries for the meet are due to the meet manager by April 29th
