If they really want to worry about kids health and wellness, then getting all the kids to swim would be top on the agenda. Swimming can save your life, unlike a slapshot or free throw.

Drowning deaths are huge and mostly preventable. And, sadly, access to swim lessons at younger ages is often about one's family economic status.
