I need help

My name is Rose Grier.    I would like to do a short documentary about why our children of color don’t swim.

I am 73 years old  grandmother who did not learn to swim until recently and this took over 3 years.   As I talk with young people (under 20), I find that majority cannot swim.   The main reasons given are for girls, fear, hair and access to pools.
For boys, most state they rather play basketball or football.

I would welcome any assistance in researching this project.
I can be reached by email or phone (voice or text) 313-318-4176.

Thank You,

Rose Grier
