Today is the day! A number of top aquatic leaders and officials will be coming together today to bring awareness for International Water Safety Day on Capital Hill (in Washington, D.C.). Their mission is: "International Water Safety Day is designed to help spread global awareness of the ongoing drowning pandemic, and educate the youth in becoming safer in and around the water."
