Congratulations to Maritza Correia-McClendon!

DAP would like to congratulate Maritza for winning the Diversity Inclusion Award at the 2013 United States Aquatic Sports convention in California. Maritza was the first African-American female to qualify to be on the 2004 American Olympic Team and advocates racial diversity within swimming. She, along with NIke, helped sponsor our 2013 Diversity in Aquatics Convention and we appreciate her support and her continued work in the sport.
