Congrats to Swim Strong's Shawn Slevin

In celebration of Women's History month, Mayor Michael Bloomberg and the Commission on Women's Issues honored Swim Strong's founder, Shawn Slevin, for her work in making NYC a better place to live.

Swim Strong Foundation makes swimming affordable and accessible to families. Last year 383 children participated in programs that both saved and changed their lives.
