We are in week 3 of a five week camp, doing swimming and water polo.

a recent Citiparks Aquatics Division audit by City Controller Michael Lamb, as well as
my participation with the PPS Athletic Reform Task Force, and

I posted that if the legislative critters were really interested in sports safety, then teaching the kids to swim would be at the top of everyone's agenda.
Bombing, in this case, is an aquatics activity, much like diving, but for the splash effect. Dudes in New Zealand are trying to build up the sport there and want to take it world-wide in the future.

What the heck?
This is a longer document that covers a pending Swim and Water Polo Camp that we'll be running in Pittsburgh for Pittsburgh Public Schools in July and August 2011. It goes 5 weeks and is offered at a city high school for kids that are going into middle school grades (6th, 7th and 8th graders).

We had a great first week of water polo playing in the central part of Pittsburgh. We got Citiparks to let us try a new program at a low-use pool in The Hill District part of town, next to the Ammon Rec Center, 2216 Bedford Ave.
