It’s been a month since I’ve been to the pool. I don’t remember why I missed it the last time. Probably something to do with tennis. I mean, I had a planned tennis date that night, and decided to do just one workout that day. Or maybe something else schedule related.
But this week, I missed swimming because of the clock. I woke up at 7:20, which should have been 6:20. . .

The Buffalo City Swim Racers, an urban swim program in Buffalo, NY, has launched its website (www.buffaloracers.org). BCSR is a unique swim program registered with USA Swimming. An unfortunately recent event happened to a Philadelphia youth rowing center, called Breaking Barriers, where tens of thousands of dollars worth of workout equipment, rowing machines, and spin bikes were stolen just before opening the program to kids. Breaking Barriers is one of America Rows original Philadelphia rowing programs and was founded to allow inner-city youth the chance to learn the sport of Rowing. When I woke up too early today, I thought that my strategy for swimming was failing me. The whole beating the crowd deal neither avoided the crowd, nor gave me enough time to swim my whole set.
