The progress of my swimming...

Hello Everyone,

I would like to let you know that I am a 28 year old Black male who is almost through with the swim lessons that I started in July of this year. It took a while to conquer my fear of the water; I had to learn to blow bubbles by exhaling, hold my breath and know how to take quick breaths, kick my feet in the correct position and move my arms and feet simultaneously. Dance Class in the Pool

My little girls started swim lessons tonight, after a month of cheerleading. They are returning swimmers, both at level 5, while their little brother, who’s been in lessons for a month, is a beginner at level 2.



For awhile tonight, it looked more like water ballet than swimming. The girls’ coach had his class form a circle so he could show them the proper backstroke arms. Everyone copied the teacher in rhythm.
