Became a ARC Junior Lifesaver in 1970, swam in high school and dove and coached diving at San Francisco State University, eventually became a swimming instructor, water aerobics instructor, lifeguard & HS swim coach in 1981. Worked for San Francisco Rec & Park 1981-99 in aquatics and recreation working with inner city youth, teens & seniors before leaving to follow my wife with the Navy. Since then I have been attached to MWR aquatics & fitness in San Diego, Guam & Italy. Also worked for Town Herndon, VA aquatics.
Currently I work for ARC SEVA as an Instructor and Instructor Trainer in CPR, FA, BBP, WSI & Lifeguarding.
