About Me:
I am the co-founder, President, Treasurer, and Athletic Director of SEASTARS Aquatics, Inc. in Pensacola FL. SEASTARS was incorporated in May 0f 2004. It was the fastest non-profit approved in the State of Florida. We provide a free USA Swimming Outreach Swim Team to Children on free or reduced lunch. We also provide a swim team and swim experiences to special needs children and adults. We give free swim lessons to Salvation Army Campers and offer private and semi private swim lessons to all of the Pensacola Area. They are offered at our facility, The Salvation Army, or we will come to your home pool. All moneys made from lessons go directly back to the non-profit. All swimmers are put on an incentive program and the swimmers earn points for attendance, community service, positive sportsmanship conduct, personal goals, and academics. The points correlate to a token economy and swimmers spend and save their points to learn responsibility and proper money management.

Hi Robin,

Love what you’re doing in your community. I look forward to meeting and picking your brain in support of developing a similar program in the NYC.

Hey Robin! Nice to meet you. I work with a sports PR agency based in Los Angeles, but I live in Gulf Breeze. We have been working with USA Swimming and Cullen Jones for the last two years to raise awareness about Make a Splash and learn to swim programs.
