Hi Ricky,
My apologies for the late welcome, but so happy to have you aboard. I see you are an extremely busy teacher/coach, and that warms my spirit. Please feel free to join in on our open forum and discussions, and we look forward to learning more about you and your experiences, which is quite extensive and impressive. If time permit, peruse our various groups, and either join one of them, or all of them, whichever appeals to your interest. Again, Welcome, take care, and God Bless You. Darrick, aka dswimmerman

Glad to know you heard the show. I've heard from a number of people who tuned in for the interview. Leslie has touched so many lives in and out of the water and I am committed to helping her efforts to reduce the number of drownings among minority children. Michael Phelps talked about water safety and children in a number of post-competition interviews. I look forward to learning how he will be able to affect change.

Please check out DAP member Leslie Paul. Leslie taught me how to swim last summer.

She is the founder of an organization called RAPS, which is aimed at reducing the staggering number of drownings amoung minority children.
