- Starting swimming when I was 4 years old. Joined the Peninsula Area Swim Team (PAST) when I was in middle school, swam all 4 years of High School and 2 years for North Carolina State University. I now lifeguard and scuba dive on a regular basis.

We almost have very similar backgrounds, in that we started swimming at an early age. My experience and motivation was quite unique, where I almost drowned at age 5, and as Paul Harvey sez it, "And Now You Know The Rest Of The Stroy".
