Michelle G. said… Oh yes--and thanks for your support regarding my swimming lessons, and your invitation to check out your endless pool! By the way, is it indoors now for the winter?
Michelle G. said… Hi Leslie, Thanks for your message! I hope you are well. Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I didn't know about muscle tone, so thanks for the tip. It sounds like a good heat insulator? Is your profile picture taken in your endless pool? I checked out your site, and thanks for posting the info about www.blackdoctor.org. Very useful. The affirmations section, and your blog entry about "Will minorities comply with health advice?" are spot on! I hope you are able to get back to working on your site and organization real soon! I am still working out my schedule for creative and professional projects this year, so I will get back to you about a real time convo. Best wishes to you with everything!
Michelle G. said… Hi Leslie, thanks for reaching out! Happy New Year to you and yours! Please consider posting your experience with your endless pool in the forum discussion, if time permits. How long have you had it? Did you look at other pools? How do you like dealing with customer service, etc. In my research so far, I have found mixed reviews about it, so I am gathering as many personal testimonies as possible :-) Having access to a warm pool (over 87 degrees Fahrenheit) is one of the things that I strongly believe will help encourage people of color to swim, and then continue swimming. What do you think??
