For those with a passion, interest or curiosity about open water swimming and who wish to talk about how to get more people of color informed and involved in long distance swimming.
I am a 65 year old, US Masters, Senior Olympic, long distance and open water swimmer. Photo is of a 2007 Alcatraz to San Francisco Bay swim with me and a 10 year old. I am currently swimming nation-wide with a bottle of gatorade on my forehead. Up to almost 50 miles now. For drowning prevention. Goal is 100 miles without dropping it!
Anything we can do to help prevent drownings works!
