- I'm not a coach, teacher, or competitive swimmer, just a regular person who overcame her fear of drowning as a kid and learned to swim. Without access to swim classes, and the caring and patient coaches and adults in my life, I would not have learned to swim. I want to pass on that same encouragement to others learning to swim, and help everyone gain access to life-saving swim lessons. When I'm not at the beach or pool with my husband, I'm probably online (I'm a social media manager), watching movies, sewing, cooking, or drawing.
