- I've been scuba diving for 15 years and am currently an instructor. Am a lifetime member of NABS and current member of the Aquatic Voyagers Scuba Club (AVSC). I am a Director with Beneath the Sea, the largest consumer dive show in North America. Dive locations: Nassau, Freeport, Bimini, the Exuma Keys, Saba, Grand Cayman, Dominican Republic, St Marten, Cozumel, Cancun, Hawaii, Turks and Caicos, Belize, Bonaire, the Red Sea Egypt, St Thomas, St John, Florida, North Carolina, New York, Catalina Island-Ca, Va Beach.

I recently read your report on the Oceanology Project for the Youth. As you well know, growing up in the South Bronx, we had the PAL, but groups like the NYPD Explorers were non-existent outside of the Boy Scouts. Thank you and Officer Brenda for chaperoning the participants and making our youth aware of options and opportunities in aquatics and its environment.
