No, this was taken landside in Kauai.
To my knowledge, Bird of Paradise do not (cannot) grow underwater.

This is just beautiful. Was this taken underwater? I have seen this flower growing in yards in California. I did not know it grew underwater? Forgive me if I sound foolish - I am curious.......
