The Diversity in Aquatics US Masters Swim program originally started in 2013 as a community outreach effort at the Lauderdale Lakes Pool Complex to teach Adults on learning how to swim. Done in conjunction with our 2013 Convention in Fort Lauderdale and included members of Black Girls Run South Florida. The program addressed the basic learn-to-swim needs and skills development of these adults in underrepresented and underserved communities. Since then the US Masters team has grown into an extension of our efforts to continue to promote aquatics and fitness in a fun and social atmosphere.
