DAP member Kenneth Stewart, chairman of the National Association of Black Scuba Divers (NABS) Youth Committee and co-founder of the Tennessee Aquatic Project and Development Group Inc. would like to announce the Brenda Lanzendorf Diving With a Purpose (DWP) Memorial Scholarship!

Diving With A Purpose is an underwater archeology program. It teaches a lay diver the techniques involved in under water archeology. In memory of National Park Service Archaeologist Brenda Lanzendorf, they have established four scholarships.

One is open to any youth between the ages of 16 and 23 and will pay all the expenses for that youth to attend the DWP program, next April in Biscayne Park Florida.

Three are for youth between the ages of 12-16 in Florida City, Key West and Nashville Tn. The scholarships pays for the expenses for that youth to become an open water SCUBA diver, and some of the expenses to attend next year NABS Youth Summit.
