I'm a local provider for the Make a Splash Foundation and they are truly commited to decreasing the drowning rates. They speak about the staggering numbers every chance they can.
Just read about the eight year old donor from Mt. Lebanon. Great stuff!
From USASwimming.org: The USA Swimming Foundation recently received a donation from one of our youngest donors. Danny, from Mt. Lebanon, Pa. recently sent in a donation to the USA Swimming Foundation. He wrote, "I hope my donation helps. I am in the third grade. My name is Danny and I am 8 years old and I hope African-Americans can learn how to swim." |
