Subject: Your request for my response to the alleged discrimination at a pool in Huntingdon Valley Pa.
Shawn: This is how I'm approaching this and most issues.
Investigate before you invest. Get the facts. Do not rush to judgment. The best article I read was on BlackAmericaWeb.com , from the Asso. Press (
http://www.blackamericaweb.com/?q=articles/news/moving_america_news...). However it omitted the report that the club allegedly expelled 2 other groups for overcrowding. What’s Being said around the web.

Understand that local issues can become national. This issue has now become international. With your organization, Face book, Twitter, and Utube, you and your organizations comments will be scrutinized worldwide. Be careful judging others, least you be judged. So get the facts.
What’s being done - There are politicians, the NAACP, and other groups who are demonstrating their outrage. The Pa. Human Relations Commission is involved and several parents are considering law suits. There are demonstrations at the pool.
What I’m considering doing specifically – contacting my friends in Huntingdon Valley Bucks County to get the facts. The media doesn’t always get the story correct. Visiting the facility. Sending a letter to the Camp with a donation. Reviewing my support for my business contacts in Huntingdon Valley Bucks County. Investigating how much federal Stimulus money Bucks County is receiving and how to put a hold on some of those funds if the pool is found legally discriminatory.
These opinions are my own and don’t reflect any organization
