I am creating a public service announcement targeting people of color, encouraging/empowering them/us to swim for health, wellness, pain control and a host of other risk factors that are increased for our communities. My problems center around strategies to help women overcome the barrier of hair - what tips do you folks have to offer? As a granddaughter of a past chairwoman of the Ohio Association of Beauticians, I spent most of my childhood weekends in "that chair" getting hair done and I just don't let the whole issue bother me, but I am acutely aware of how much hair is a problem, the need to go quickly from wet to dry to professional hairstyles is huge - HELP! What are you women on this page doing for hair care and to avoid the breakage that I hear so many complaints about? How do you style your hair to save time and energy?
Thanks!
