hi everyone -- I'm sure you all know, but Cullen Jones made the US Olympic swim team last night! I am blogging about the Trials at http://dotellproductions.com/site/news -- you can look there for photos, links, and news about Cullen and Lia Neal -- as well as other African Americans and Latinos at the meet.

Hi Jenny,
I have been keeping up with the Olympics, but I do not know how I missed Lia's prelim event in the 50 meter. Wow, 25:89 is moving at age 13. I will ask the same question that was asked about Michael Phelps...........Is she half human and half fish.....or does she have fins and gills??????? So proud of her accomplishements at such an early age. We will be tracking her for years to come. Wasn't Lia one of the youngest participant at the trials???
I watched the relay event that Cullen Jones swam in along with Michael Phelps and other notables.
Is/was that the only event that Cullen Jones is participating in?

-Ric Powell
It was the only event that Cullen qualified in. He came very close in the 100 and the 50 free, but he placed third in each -- not enough to qualify for an Olympic berth. -- Jenny
