Middle Atlantic Swimming will be holding a Coaches Diversity Conference on September 29th and 30th at the Holiday Inn in Cherry Hill, NJ. This conference is open to any coach that would like to attend. You do not have to be a USA Swimming member coach or a Middle Atlantic Coach, we have coaches coming from across the country. This workshop is being held to give coaches the tools to deal with diversity and the enivornment to deal with real diveristy discussions, sharing experiences and best practices. Our keynote speaker is Dr. Jenny Withyecombe, leader of advanced Diversity Workshops for the NCAA as well as guest speakers, US Rowing's Inclusion Manager-Richard Butler, Coast Guard's regional Diversity Manager-Lt. James DeLeon, as well as swim coaches James Ellis-Salvation Army Kroc Aquatics, Central Chesapeake Coach John Mason and Paraswimmer-Travis Pollen.
